Nicasio Safadi Reves (Reves is the translation of Rbeiz) (Beirut, 1902- Guayaquil, October 29, 1968) was an Ecuadorian musician〔http://archivo.eluniverso.com/2003/10/29/0001/18/8D811F9E23F44C3ABDD85DB829A8911B.aspx〕 of Lebanese descent. 〔(Enciclopedia del Ecuador ) 〕 Born in Lebanon, he went to Ecuador when he was five years old.
